However, despite the fact that the movie is a bunch of self-appreciating bullshit, it is still good, regardless. If you
love the Pistols, even in the slightest bit, it's definitely worth seeing.
There are so many things to love about this movie, if you can just learn to ignore whatever McLaren says. Some of the
most memorable moments are:
Sid singing the classic Frank Sinatra song My Way. I've played this damn song so many fucking times that I know
my family is about ready to snap my cd in half, but I just can't seem to stop listening to it! I think he has an incredible
voice - something about it is just appealing to me. It's a rare chance to hear somebody other than Johnny sing. (I love Johnny,
don't get me wrong!)
Malcolm dancing with the midget. This part seriously cracks me up. I love midgets. I guess you could say I have
a slight obsession with them. No, not a fetish. They just make me laugh. Sounds mean, I know, but it's true. I could watch
this part of the film all day.
Sid singing the song Something Else. Come on, he's in a thong. How can you not want to see that?
Friggin' in the Riggin'. This is just a hilarious song, great lyrics. And Steve is singing! ^_^
And, my obvious favorite, Who Killed Bambi. This is one of the most bizarre and random songs I have ever heard.
It's sung by Eddie Tudor-Pole, a "kiosk attendant" named Tadpole. It, as well as many of the other songs, really has nothing
to do with the film whatsoever. Horrible diction, lots of grunting and other strange sounds, and insane lyrics just make anybody
totally fall in love with this song. It's fun to listen to while driving, windows rolled down, singing along loudly,
just to see all the strange looks people give you. ^_^
